This is a recap.23rd April:8.50pm - We went to TMC at 8.50pm for the 9pm appointment. Scare out of my own wits, R wasn't really being helpful as I was trying to keep calm. We approached the counter to register. Counter nurse made a mistake of collecting only $600 deposit but it's okay.9.15pm - Went to the labour ward to change. R was placed at the waiting area. By the time finish changing, it was 9.30pm. Was told to lie down and wait for Gynae as they had already called for him. Apparently for him, he gave instructions to the nurse not to give anything to me until he came.9.50pm - He came. Inserted the tablet for inducing and broke water bag. Then I was transferred to the delivery ward. With my water bag broken and water dripping, I walked to Room 3 (the same room which I went to for hospital tour). Was told to lie on the bed and the insert the tubes for inducing. 10.30pm - started feeling contractions at 20 mins apart. Nurses kept coming in asking if want epidural. 11.50pm - I asked for epidural as the pain hit a high of 100+, I couldn't take it. Nurse checked cervic it was 3cm only!24th April:12.20am - Pain was intense as the nurse upped the dosage of the inducing drip! The contractions came every 2mins. It was hurting quite badly. We were lucky that the Epi doc came! By then I was 5cm dialated already. (Damn...he was expensive at $300!). Anyway, R was told to go out while I had my Epi. With Epi, I started shivering intensively...but it was GOOD!
1am - The pain was pretty intense. I could feel the push. After less than 10 pushes, I started having the need to push and there was "water" coming out. After then 5th - 6th push, I told R to get the nurse as the push was more intense.
The nurse came in, place finger in to check cervic...BAD MISTAKE...the push became so bad that the nurses had to grab me and put me upside down (slanted lah) so to prevent the baby from coming before baby come! I was given the mask...I was in LAH LAH land. I couldn't open my eyes, but I can feel the PAIN and push. I could hear "voices" (It's like those dream...hahaha) telling me to hold on and then later gynae rushed in and then it was PUSH.
1.37am - The SCS stress ball wasn't helpful. I squeeze that and R's hand. R's right hands has cuts from my nails. R said that I pushed awhile and she was out already.
Then nurse called R to follow her...but I still felt the need to push. I could feel the needle too! The other nurse ask me to hold the mask and I did again. Again lah lah land until I force myself to take the mask off after the final push (I guess it's the placenta) and the stitching was done.
**I found out much later that Ilyse actually came to fast for them to upp the epi. So that was the pain.

Went to the gynae last night, was the 1st patient as I left office early.After scanning quite long, the Gynae mentions that the water bag level is low and it's not normal. He says it would be best during this week to be induce. I told him that I would like to go home and think about it and will call back to let him know when and the time.R drove me crazy by saying that can I get induce tomorrow afternoon or night? WHY? Because he has work to clear. *faint*. Eventually we decided okay, tomorrow night (which is tonight) at 9pm. We called the gynae when we reached home and told him. He said he will meet us there. My stupid mindset is still induce = C-section + epi. Worried. My initial plan was natural w/o epi. Haiz. I guess my ah-girl which to be very different.Called my daddy and told him. Got scolding from him when I told him it's R's duty to tell his parents. He say I must show more respect..blah blah. Anyway, R wanted to tell yesterday but I told him better not to. Or else the news will spread very fast to his aunty and etc. So I told him to tell them tonight, so less headache. Lucky I did cos his aunty called my MIL after dinner to chit chat!We went back to my office to collect my stuff to bring home. Co-incidently my boss was still around. Apparently they were having some high mgmt intensive meeting. So he came into the office and saw me around (cos I met a legal lady at the pantry...and told her tomolo checking into hospital. She must have told my boss I was around). Told him I won't go in today onwards. He says okay. He even told R that he is sorry to have kept me in office for so long. LOL. Actually like I say, boss is a nice guy. I dun mind the workload but I like fairness, that's all.Oh! R was nice yesterday, went to NTUC after visting the office and went to buy Ben's and Jerry's and my wasabi chips (I paid myself..I dun mind) afterSo what are the plans today?Actually ain't sure. But will be going out in a few minutes to go R's office to meet him. Then going for lunch. After that, unsure liao. Will update later again!

Went to the gynae today, gynae told me to come back on Tues. He told me current my amniotic fluid is still average but if on Tues it is low means....I get what he means but I dun want an induce labour (that might become a C-section). So currently am abit sad about it.This is what I read from baby centre (http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/ref/lowamnioticfluid/):How much fluid should I have?
The amount of amniotic fluid you have increases until the beginning of the third trimester and generally peaks at 36/37 weeks, at which point you may have about 800-1000ml/2 pints. After that, it gradually begins to decrease until you give birth. It seems that it is OKAY that it begains to decrease but I guess if it decrease too much, it's risky for the baby. Today's check up. Baby is around 2.9kg - 3.2kg. I am weighing 56.1 kg (home machine - before dinner). Will try to eat what I want these few days in case on Tues, I really have to be admitted to hospital.To make things more complicated, I have 2 early morning bids on Monday and Tuesday. My mummy says it's okay for me sleep over next week as bro is not in town (happy). So plan with R is that I sleep over on Sun and Mon. Tues (he is on half day), he will pick me up from office to go to the gynae and go homez. Hopefully nothing goes wrong these days UNLESS baby decides to come by herself (I will be more than happy). That's the latest update. Going to have some durian ad cake later.

Went to the gynae today. Update:Edd: 4th May (week 38)Baby is 3.174kgMummy's weight is at 56.6kg - 12.6kg (as per home machine, cos of R, I forgot to weigh myself at the gynae's clinic!)I3 has turned upside down but has yet to be in the engaged position. Today she isn't moving much (i.e. violently that is), and when Dr Woody asked, I told him. He said to shake my tummy a little to make sure she moves 10 times a day. I was laughing when he shook my tummy. I asked him about inducing, whether it will be more ex. He said no. Same $$. He further asked if I wish to induce, when do I want to do it? I was thinking if I was to go ahead, it would be next Sunday 20th April. Reasons for wanting to induce:- I3 seems rather big (already heavier than both her bros! But the again, it's the machine's weigh judgement, might be +/- 500g?)- Getting out of work earlier (already tired of going to work)- Sun will be a good day as Dr Woody isn't on "schedule" to go to any clinic. So he might be able to focus his time 100% on meHowever, I read that inducing will cause longer labour. What's more I3 isn't in the engaged position. Anyway, the decision was that we wait till the next check up on Sat to finally decide on it.Another update: got my mandee stuff. Not bad for $50.31 for 2 dresses. Quality not bad. This morning was looking at gojane, again temptation to buy and buy more shoes. Must hold off my temptation but the shoes is so NICE. Wait till give birth and then clear wardrobe and shoe cabinet stuff. I hope I can lose my weight...I now very scare of the stretch marks that I can see near my belly button. Still have tots of doing lipo. Haha...but the cost is to the extreme so that's detering me. Hope that I can lose naturally and properly. Now I am thinking of wasabi potato chips, ice-cream, coconut and most importantly avocado milk shake!! Food food food...that's all I can think off. Am I a glutton? I guess I am...>_<**Happy mood for now. Must try to be happy...love I3 loads. Hope she knows that I am thinking of her everyday.

First time my life I won something "big". I won a pair of tickets (should be the cheapest seats but STILL!) to Wu Bai concert but I can't go COS R doesn't want to go. =( I didn't realise the tickets can be so ex and I passed it over to his ex-colleague who is a good friend. When we reach to the bus stop, I asked R where was it...guess what, he asked me "I tot it was with u?!?!" I told him how can it be as I didn't take it at all as he was the one who went to make payment. So he assumed that he left it in the shop.Okay...let's back track. Reach TPY we went to the shop to buy the dresses. After which, he walked to Library while I went shop and save. After that, we went Pastamania. That was it. Then he called me, told me it's not at the shop. Then I asked him to go to the library and YES, it was at the library where he was picking his BOOK!The worse part abt this was, he wanted to take the bus home (as the bus was approaching) and forget abt it. I told him no way. The reason for going TPY was to buy the dress..I say if not, he go buy another 2 more. Hence he relucantly went to the shop to check.What a husband I have?!?
