More office crap. Maybe let me start from the begining...summarized version.
As mention before, I was asked if I wanted to switch to another role previously but I declined. Currently there is a new role out and I did have sorta an call/interview with the Head of Finance. In the call, I was confident enough to say that I can hand over my things easily because there was another person who was doing the same things as I was. Hence the person seems positive that he might be able to pull me into finance.
BUT 2hrs later, a bomb shell dropped. An email sent out by AP saying that we MUST change to a new financial model by next month (i.e. means we have less than 5 working days to migrate to the new template...out of which 2 days I am away for holidays!!!) and hence throwing away all my hardwork on the current financial template created by me, which most countries are using at the moment. I am MAD, FURIOUS and XXXX abt it. Now my tots is that, I do not think the mgmt which I currently under is willing to let me go over. =(
I really want to go over but I also got news that there is alot of CRAP happening. However, it seems that certain people are confident that I can do "the job"...although seriously I am frighten! But the position is relatively a good one with better prospect to the outside world in future.
I dun know how to approach the issue now. We have a current mgr that hasn't really been a mgr. We have no one to escalate the issues. Overall mgmt thinks that we can change template within a day. Sigh...someone advise me on what to do.
Suddenly I feel GOD DAMN tired. =(
