Sore eyes started with my son on Friday. This morning at 2.30am felt my eyes feeling weird, went to toilet and saw...*sigh...red. This morning went to the doc, confirm sore eyes. It's viral. After that, husband also got it....then by late afternoon my FIL. Argh!
Now we are hoping my youngest dun get it. It's pretty bad. Mine is...I made an early call to SNEC to check with them. They said as long as the eye drop has no steriods, I can use. If by Monday, it isn't get well, I guess I got to make an appointment.
This ain't going well. Argh! Now having headache with renovation stuff.
Things to do:
1) Settle Aviva BigE
2) Settle Housing loan papers
3) Look for reno ID
4) Look for aircon (reading up sucks)
5) Look for hob and hood (the more I read, the more confuse)
6) Look for furniture
7) Settle my exit with my co on friday
8) Wait for house keys...then have to arrange "a date" to OPEN the door!
.....and others.
Getting stress, husband isn't helping cos he isn't reading up on those electrical stuff. I am really bad at those things. How?!? Now seeking advise. Just wish to sign up with 1 ID and get it done with. Yet, I want to source for something cheap and reasonable. Torn between doing it up well or just simple and easy. Headache!

My long awaited flat. Finally finally it's coming. I booked my flat in Nov 2005 (mind you, this was a 2nd Walk-in-selection...imagine those who BTO in Yr 2003!).
Got informed by HDB today (by phone, 20 mins after I sent my email <-- their customer svc efficiency is fantastic now) that the loan application form was sent to us yesterday. So I guess I will receive it today or tomorrow. Our tentative date for keys collection will be in Jun. Yippee.
Soon will need to plan how to do up the flat simply. Simple and easy to maintain w/o spending much. *grin* Then look for furniture. Good time to purchase things, going to be Great Singapore Sale! Sale sale sale...and GST hasn't increased yet!
Oh oh, got to settle the BigE investment too. OCBC CPF deposit has matured or maturing (Rod & mine), need to transfer it the BigE before key collection. Taking longer loan from HDB since interest is low and earn higher interest thru other venues. =P Must plan.
June is going to be a wonderful month. New job, new house, a new start!

Just read this article on someone's blog on "Why Singaporean Should Have Kids." It's pretty interesting actually. Often we hear people saying, they do not want kids...or the plentiful reasons on WHY we should not have kids. Guess we can take a different perspective of things.
Today I am actually pretty mad. Trying to figure out if I can disown a brother...but apparently there is NO WAY I can do so. I tried to be civil, help when needed but...somehow, nothing gets thru. I only requested for his details and soon to be ex-wife (no. 2) because my employment declaration needed it. Since he didn't wish to provide his ex-wife's, it was fine. But he didn't even wish to provide his. Instead, my family got insulted, my ability got insulted, my husband got insulted, my life cursed...just for requesting for personal particulars.
Those who know me knows that I never got along with my brother. Those who knows me very well knows the reason why and support my decision. Those who do not know me well enough, I am 200% sure that you will support my decision on being civil with such a person if you knew why. Curious? LOL. Dun be. Just remember, it takes two hands to clap just to change someone.
Now I am more worried about my parents, do not wish them to be involve..it is something that is no fault of theirs. We became the way we are...entirely because of him (I am not pushing blame but it is really because of him!). Anyone who tries to help...end up get the blame too. He never learns to accept that he is responsible on his own actions...just blames on others.
I really thank those who have supported me emotionally and mentally, those who kept me balance...and those who like/love me the way I am. Thanks!

At 6pm, I officially signed the contract to join the new company. Part of me is happy that I have finally made that decision but part of me have fear...I guess you can say it's not fear...more like scared that I can't meet their mark! LOL
HR was pretty nice. Got loads of stuff to fill in and to read. Have a "security" documentation which I need to fill in too. Will fill in tomorrow...too lazy today. The bus ride back was LONG. Basically I was STUPID!
At the bus stop, I missed the Bus 2XX. I stood there and waited for another one. Then bus 3X pass....bus 1XX pass...then it HIT me! Hey, I can actually take those buses to the INTERCHANGE and take my precious bus home! Wasted 20 mins!
Got home. Contemplated on buying another bicycle to cycle to the bus stop (bus stop ain't near..abt 10-15mins walk). But need to think, where to park the bicycle w/o it being torn down to pieces...hmm...got to do some research around my area. Weekend...I need weekend to come quick...
So shld I buy a bicycle? shld I just walk?

Got an offer yesterday after leaving the office of the interview. When I got to the bus stop I called the recruiter (agent) and told her how the interview went. Few secs later...the recruiter excitedly called and told me they offered. What made her more fustered was that she didn't even got a chance to neg a better salary for me...cos they offered the salary that she wanted to try to get for me. She is so sweet (by the way, she is not paid commission or quota attainment)! She says this is the first time she doesn't need to do anything.
But....but...the company is stable. Job scope is 50% pricing and 50% risk analysis...which is good for me. Pay is good. Location is abit out of the way (though near my parents)...but but...i dun know what's stopping me. Plus today, need to irritate my HR and ask them abt earlier release, etc.
I cancelled 1 interview this morning (my frens tot I was crazy cos it's really a huge company worldwide...let's put it this way, those who use the internet 90% of them will use the site =P) but will be going for the afternoon one. The afternoon interview...by co-incidence, the hiring mgr (the interviewer) is a fren of a fren. In SG, world is really SMALL!
Anyway, will probably make the decision today. It's a risk to take this position as it will AGAIN make me fall back to the IT industry...and also make me fall back to pricing. But maybe I need the stability?!?! Can't sleep...so sleepy now...

A good break needed and given...Labour Day. However, my friends and I were labouring over other stuff..MJ! Hahaha. 3 losers to 1 winner. Almost lost my whole box...unlucky. But I feel so much better, started with a bad morning arguing with husband.
Good news is that my official MBA cert arrived last friday. I was jumping with joy. Happy to finally "touch" and "see" the certificate with my name imprinted on it. Just hope that with this certificate, it can open more doors for me. Recently I went for 1 interview, the interviewer knows that I just got my MBA and asked if I will be studying for my ACCA/CFA/CPA. I was like...not at the moment. First, no money. Second, I am tired of studying for a while...so it's a definate NO!
It's a lazy Wed morning. Have yet to set up the internet connection on my laptop cos I am doing some online application for investment...hence need my PC. Printing is really slow!
