As per my subject title (which apparently on this blog you can't see...) "Back from Holiday, I see Baby, I am a yr OLDER and I AM FAT!" It's a summary of what happened that past 2 weeks or so...in that order.First - Back from Holiday. We (R and I) went to Taipei for 5D4N. Didn't like the place, the food sucked big time (maybe cos my taste buds was bad...but then again, I love the food in BKK, HK and HCM better), rainy, etc. However, the trip was a good break. Got ALOT of SLEEP. Loved the hotel, love Danshui (for their jelly! and view), other than that...nothing. Second - I see Baby.Went for my 2nd appointment on the 21st Sept. Felt relieve seeing baby...well, cos my tots were the worse scenarios...dun think you want me to elaborate...they were real bad ones. But baby was there...like the doc said "the blinking dot" on the scan. Got a pic but no scanner...so no one can see the pic except us at home!Third - I am a yr OLDER. Boss celebrated my colleague's (her b'day is on the 18th) and my birthday on 20th (the day that I went to work after my holiday). He bought us lunch at a Thai restaurant...then on Friday treated us to lunch again. he is really nice.I celebrated at home with family on Sunday. Had lunch outside our place cos I was craving for some nice zhi char food. Bill wasn't much...around $87...R paid. =P He bought a cake too...and a birthday pressie (a nice heart shape box. I appreciate it but still wondering what I will put in it?!?!? Am I bad or what?!?). The cake was GOOD...sinful. Hmmm...i doubt there is anymore cake left..ate 2 pieces only.Spent my actual birthday in the office on Monday. Got loads of wishes from good pals (thanks you guys n girls for remembering! Although I dun seem to know when is some of theirs =( ). Had to work late till 10pm cos of a major bid that was closing on Tues. But I had expected it (hence the reason why I told R to buy a cake on Sun, rather than Mon). But work is work...pleasure is pleasure...I am okay with that. (must always remember to set priorities right. Well, that's another topic abt me).Fourth - I AM FAT!God I feel fat, I weigh 47.2kg (based on home machine - 25th Sept) or 46.7kg (based on doc's machine on Friday - 20th Sept)..it's a 3.2kg GAIN from my original weight...and I am like only in my 9th WEEK! Scary! I am hoping not to gain 19kg like my 1st pregnancy (my 2nd was only 13kg). Sigh, I wonder if I am gonna hit 49kg by 13th week *faint*. Yah yah...I know, some people will say "god I am skinny or stick thin" but I AM NOT. Now I got a huge tummy..man, it feels like as if I am in my 4th mth...no no..more like I feel like I am in my 6/7th mth but look like I am in my 4th mth! 3rd pregnancy my tummy is expanding alot faster. Probably will break the news to my boss this week when he comes back on leave. Hope the company will not be so "evil"...I need my pay, I need the work to keep me entertain and my brain moving, I need a social life...pray for me okies?Last but not least an update on what happened today. Had a last minute bid that was to close at 4pm but we only knew at 10.30am! So pple rushed and sat thru the longest review with the V (1.5hrs) for the sign-off. But glad nothing "bad" happen except that I agree with V that the team should be more "prepared" (but then again...they are always like that. =P ). Boss smsed in the early morning to take afternoon off if I had nothing urgent...but then as seen above...I didn't get my afternoon off. But I left about 50 mins early. Went to Paragon to pass a fren the shoes she bought. Then went back to Cineleisure to meet R to catch "The Waitress" (acted by Kerri Russel <-- Dun know if name spelt correctly)...free tickets..won in a contest (as usual...I am a contest freak). Then took a cab back cos I was really tired (but the again...I am online now posting...so where's the logic?). It wasn't that bad...the tickets = price of a cab. So technically, it was a good evening night out, although it was only abt 2hrs+. I am dreading when baby 3 is out. No more late nights unless we hire a maid (which is very likely will happen cos I think my In-laws will scream if we dun...hope we can rent out our flat to offset the cost of a maid..on the hind sight...I get more reliefs from hiring a maid and I can con't my tuition <-- my only escape to boredem. Anyway, best to stop and really rest. Hope tomorrow will be a better day.

Got a call around 4pm yesterday, my aunt called and told me that my dad hit his head and he was in the hospital. She couldn't tell me what happen but she assurred that he was fine just needed some stitches. Right after that, my mum called and told me my dad hit his head on the wall. He was at SPH when he slipped...story still remain unclear. She continued saying that she was waiting for him to come out from the room where they were stitching him up. She further mentions that he drove himself HOME to get my mum, then drove to the hospital! I told her I will go over after my meeting in the evening, she told me to call to make sure they are home...I was like what?!?! Then she said cos they still had some appointment in the evening...I told her to tell my dad to cancel all. My god...he has a head injury...while "nagging", she told me he is out...and passed the phone to him. While talking to him, he told me that he has 8 stitches on the head. (Story will unfold later) I told him to cancel his appointment and go home..rest! And I will visit him later. When I got to their place...dad looked alright except for the bandaged "Turban". His eyes are getting "glassy" due to old age...reminds me again that he is old (He is already 64). Then he showed me what happened. His story : He was at SPH. Since he had a heavy box (dun know what he was taking), he said he put it down in the lift. When the lift door opened, the two other guys in the lift with him helped him hold the door. While he pushed the box out, apparently he "felt" a push and he fell forward and hit the lift door wall. Suffered a gash and was bleeding. He went to the clinic in SPH and the doc did a bandage for him. He didn't want my mum to rush down, so he drove back home to pick my mum up before going to the hospital. (I still dun know who drove...dad or mum). Anyway, the 2nd part as u know above.I ain't sceptical when my dad said "something" pushed cos it might be possible. I do believe in spirits...good, bad, cheeky...etc. I felt that "push" when I was younger too...when I sat on a swing at a playground near home. R laughed it off, but I say it's true. Anyway, it's good to SEE he is fine. He is still going Malaysia on SAT. Hahaha...so I guess overall he is alright.

Need to back track. Went to the gyne on Friday. Generally the wait was BAD, the crowd was worse BUT the gyne..well, i feel comfortable with him. The bill for a 5 mins checkup...$125!First, had to weigh myself, was 45.8kg at the clinic after dinner (when I went home, I weight 46.3kg. Apparently my home digital machine is like 0.5-0.6kg OFF!). Second, Dr A. did a scan for me, could located the baby sac but saw the thickening of the walls. He ask me to go back in 2 weeks, hopefully we see "someone" then.Third, Dr A. explain some stuff and told us about the package and asked us if we had question. Fourth, had to wait for about 15 mins to pay the bill and get some folic acid + vitamins! Home sweet home at 9.10pm! *yawn*Today we made our 10% deposit for our ID. The total bill is $8,106. However, am still contemplating on the wardrobes which is an additional $1,050 per wardrobe. Actually adding them in, is alittle out of my budget but okay. The ID tells us that he will do up the design and let us decide. Ah..well, let's see how it goes. Will post the whole ID bill later when I have the time. My list of things are ALL almost settle. Happy......glad. Tentatively, renovation should finish by end of OCT. Everything to move and clean by NOV. Maybe can organize a Christmas party at our place. But we lack some stuff such as a TV! Still wondering what my in-laws are sponsoring...R has asked if they chipping in *cash*.

Sigh...I am still feeling lost and worried. Been trying to diagnose why I am feeling this way...the only "solution" that I can think of is...because I never plan for this to happen. It seems that if I have some mental preparation of something, I feel less uneasy. However, this really came 100% unexpected though I had thought about having a 3rd many months ago (almost a yr ago) but I gave up that thought already. So being unexpected, I now become lost.Still trying to find my footing and my way. I guess the first step is to go to a gyne to confirm the pregnancy. Previous 2, I went to my doctor beside my home to check but this time around decided not to. Found a gyne near my home...compasspoint actually. Probably will go on Friday and see how I feel about this doc. I read up the forums that there are some good and bad reviews. Bad reviews is that he sometimes seem unfriendly, quick to diagnose..."waste no time attitude"...etc But then again, that's how my other gyne in KKH had been. LOL. Anyway, let's hope he is OK.His 1st consultation - not inclusive in package...so I guess the bill will be over $100++2nd consultation - can be the package which is around $550. That doesn't include "DETAIL" Scanning which is said to be around $100++ which have to be taken at TMC itself. If this gyne is fine...then it settles my consulations. Now the hospital...which one. Mt A or TMC. LOL Both are pretty okay. TMC got free upgrade from 4 bedder to 2 bedder <-- huge advantage. But Mt A is more cosy. However, need to take a trip down to the hospital to get a "feel" of the place. >_<Now I pray this little baby will be less picky on food. The other day, I took 1 egg tart and he/she doesn't seem to like it...end up having to have tummyache twice in a day! It's just an egg tart...sheesh. My other two boys...I had tummyache when I took KFC! Hmm...I wonder whether I should try KFC on this one! =PAlso have been rather emotional. Whenever I think about my boys when I am taking a long trip to work or home...i feel like crying. This hormonal thing is going to drive me nuts. I hope my boss dun make me go nuts later and end up I crying in front of him w/o a good reason.Oh oh..before I forget. My weight yesterday show I am 46kg. Let's see each week/each month, how much it changes! I hope it won't be drastic!!!! I'm too afraid of getting or feeling fat.

See See...I have said it. I am pregnant with no. 3! Sigh...like I told many, I am sighing away. It's not like pregnancy isn't good...we wanted no. 3 but but...this dun seem to be the right time. I feel so lost <-- maybe some hormonal changes.Okay, let's look back at how I found out.In the begining I thought the delay was due to lack of sleep, not enough rest, stress, cycle delay (cos my cycle can be as late as 42 days <-- that's what I tot)...so I just shelved the thought plus the fact of false alarm and not having any spare test kit (I stingy...dun wish to buy any!) Weirdly enough for the past 2 weeks I have been waking up at 5.20am every morning. Dun ask me why that can happen! Then well, my back started aching and my weight gain...again I shelved that because I thought it was lack of sleep. Last Wed (29th Aug), met my niece, told her that my mense late but also told her the above where my cycle was late. Then on Monday (3rd Sept), told her same thing on MSN. But when I went to check on my cycles (under www.cyclespage.com), I realise that the last time my cycle hit 40 days was in Nov-Dec, after that it was 30 -34 days. So it strike me that it might be true. Anyway, in the evening we went to Hougang Mall because we needed to buy pastry for R's morning meeting...I went to buy a kit. Was debating on buying Watson's or Clearblue's brand. Eventually bought Clearblue. During that whole time I was telling R, I hope not true. N what if it is true...HOW?!?!?!Got home, drank 1 cup (actually only half a cup) and went up to toilet to try. Was trying to be calm and all....when I took the kit out and tested...the funny thing was...there is this cap that covers the "window box" that shows the line. I saw the first line, I was like SHIT preggy...then I close the cap and put it down. When I look at the box, I realise the first line meant the kit is working fine. So I heaved a good sigh...then i open the cap. I saw the 2nd line getting brighter and brighter. Funny thing is, my hand trembled. Then I SMSed R a "unhappy face"...he didn't respond...so I went downstairs and called him up to show him. I say "HOW?!??!" He say "HOW?!??! what! If have is have lor." So easy for him to say hor...Eventually I smsed my niece and told her. Comforting that she mentions that she hopes that I get a minnie mouse. It was a nice thought...cos the whole time all I was thinking was "rat" and "horse" dun get along! At night when we were in bed, I was still with the HOW?!?!? Somehow I can't accept it. I just feel it's not the right time. But then again...when is it ever?

This is generally a guideline for a friend of mine.Renovation:- Built in wardrobes (5ft for 3 bed rooms, $1k+ each)- Kitchen (top n bottom cabinet)- Painting- 1 shower screen- 1 service yard sliding windows- installation of lighting- connection of sink, washing machine, heater- kitchen base- removal of debris- some minor miscCost -> $12k - $15k**Add: If you want built in shoe cabinet (around $1k), feature wall ($1k-$1.5k), etcKitchen items:- Sink $135 - $500 (depend on brand)- Hob & Hood $500- $1k (depends on brand)- kitchen tap $25 - $200 (depends on brand)- oven (not microwave) $500-$1kCost -> min. (w/o oven) $700Heater:- Storage heater Ariston 15 litre $200- Storage heater Ariston 30 litre $225- Storage heater Joven is around $190+ onwards- Instant heater (cheapest I saw is $85, most are around $150+) $100+ eachCost --> min $200Furniture- Sofa $299 onwards- Dining table $299 onwards- Beds $200 onwards- dining table $200 onwardsCost --> min $1k +Washing machine - $500 onwards (good quality)Fridge - $700 onwards (good quality)Cost --> min $1.5k+Aircon- Mit-E system 2 $1.5k (for bedrooms only)- Mit-E system 3 $1.9k (for bedrooms only)**If you want for living room, then need a bigger compressor or 2 seperate compressor. The BTU of the aircon for bedroom and living room is very different. Living room need bigger BTU. If include living, the aircon will cost over $3k+++Generally if you add everything together, it's quite a big sum. However, you can always take a renovation loan and/or a refurnishing loan but be wary of the interest rates.
